If you’re searching for a way to deploy llms.txt, entity.json, ai-feed.xml, and AI discovery tags to a Shopify store through AigeoRadar — you’re in the right place.

We want to be transparent: our Shopify app is not publicly available yet. It’s in an active demo and private beta phase. The integration works on our own test stores, but the rollout is taking longer than we initially planned because of Shopify’s Custom distribution model, OAuth requirements, and App Store readiness work.

What you can use today: the AigeoRadar WordPress plugin (one-click deploy) or manual ZIP download for any platform — PHP, Laravel, ASP.NET, static HTML, and more.

This guide explains where Shopify stands, what works today, and what the full Shopify flow will look like when we open it to more merchants.

Quick answer: Can I use AigeoRadar with Shopify right now?

If you need AI discovery files on your site this week, use WordPress or download the AI Discovery ZIP from your AigeoRadar dashboard after running a GEO analysis.

Why is the Shopify integration taking longer?

Building for Shopify is different from WordPress:

1. Distribution model — Our app started as a Custom distribution app, which only allows install on specific stores (not open to every merchant worldwide).
2. OAuth & app proxy — Discovery files are served via Shopify’s app proxy (e.g. /apps/aigeoradar/llms.txt), which requires Partner Dashboard configuration, theme app extensions, and careful testing.
3. Theme app embed — Homepage  injection relies on a theme app extension merchants enable in Online Store → Themes → Customize.
4. Public App Store — Letting any Shopify merchant install with one link requires a separate Public app and Shopify’s review process (typically weeks, not days).

We’re validating the full pipeline on real stores before opening it broadly. That’s why you’ll see “Coming soon” in the AigeoRadar app for most accounts, while WordPress remains our primary deploy path.

What AigeoRadar’s Shopify app will do (when fully released)

When the integration is generally available, merchants will be able to:

1. Connect their Shopify store from Sites → Publishing in AigeoRadar
2. Deploy AI discovery assets with one click:
   • llms.txt
   • entity.json
   • ai-feed.xml
   • knowledge.json
   • Homepage head tags (JSON-LD + discovery links)
3. Enable the AigeoRadar AI Discovery app embed in the theme editor
4. Verify live files at URLs like:
   • https://yourstore.com/apps/aigeoradar/llms.txt

Important: On Shopify, llms.txt typically lives under the app proxy path, not always at the site root (/llms.txt). WordPress can publish to the root directly — that’s one reason we recommend WordPress for maximum AI crawler compatibility today.

Setup guide (private beta — for early access stores)

If you’ve been invited to our Shopify private beta, follow these steps. Otherwise, skip to What to do instead.

Prerequisites

• AigeoRadar account on Pro or higher (Shopify app sync plan feature)
• A completed GEO analysis and AI Discovery package for your site
• Shopify store admin access (store owner account recommended for install)
• Store domain in AigeoRadar matching your brand (e.g. yourbrand.com)

Step 1 — Add your site in AigeoRadar

1. Log in to AigeoRadar
2. Add your domain (e.g. yourbrand.com)
3. Verify ownership, run crawl + analysis
4. Review your GEO score and AI Discovery package

Step 2 — Install the app (Partner install link)

For Custom distribution apps, installation often starts from a Partner-generated install link, not a generic “Install” button alone.

1. Use the install link provided by AigeoRadar support (private beta)
2. Approve permissions in Shopify Admin
3. Return to Sites → Publishing in AigeoRadar
4. Enter your your-store.myshopify.com domain and complete OAuth if prompted

Step 3 — Deploy discovery files

1. On the Publishing page, click Deploy now
2. Confirm success message listing deployed assets
3. Test in browser:
   • https://yourstore.com/apps/aigeoradar/llms.txt
   • https://yourstore.com/apps/aigeoradar/entity.json

Step 4 — Enable theme app embed

1. Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes → Customize
2. Open App embeds (bottom of left panel)
3. Enable AigeoRadar AI Discovery
4. Save

Step 5 — Verify in AigeoRadar

• Open your Dashboard → GEO Setup Journey
• Confirm Deploy step shows live files
• Run Check live deploy if needed

What to do instead: WordPress & manual ZIP

WordPress (recommended)

1. Sites → Publishing → AigeoRadar WordPress Plugin
2. Download plugin ZIP, install on WordPress
3. Generate connect token + paste Site UUID
4. Click Deploy now in WordPress

One-click. Files at site root. Best AI crawler discovery path we offer today.

Manual ZIP (any platform)

1. Complete GEO analysis
2. Download full package (.zip) from Publishing
3. Upload llms.txt, entity.json, etc. to your server root (or follow included instructions)
4. Paste head snippet into your theme’s 

Works on Shopify only if you manually add files — Shopify doesn’t allow arbitrary root files without an app or custom theme work. For Shopify merchants waiting for our app, manual deploy is possible but technical.

FAQ

Is the Shopify app on the App Store?
Not yet. Public listing requires additional Partner setup and Shopify review.

I clicked Install and saw “invalid installation link” — why?
Custom apps require a valid Partner install link and often store owner approval. Contact support if you’re in the beta list.

Can I run Google Ads / GEO campaigns while on Shopify?
Yes. Run your analysis on any domain. Deploy via ZIP or wait for Shopify early access. Marketing focus today: WordPress.

Will my plan include Shopify when it launches?
Pro+ plans include Shopify app sync in our roadmap. Existing subscribers will get access as we roll out — no need to buy a separate product.

How do I get early access?
