AI Crawler Registry (ACR)

AI Crawler Registry (ACR) is an open specification cataloging web crawlers and bots — who they belong to, what they do, and how they map to robots.txt user-agents.

User-facing name: AI Bot Directory (Powered by ACR). Part of the AI Discovery Framework (ADF), alongside AIPM.

ADF: Page + Crawler

AIPM → What does this page tell AI? ({path}.ai.json)
ACR → Which crawlers can access my site? (registry + policy)

Open source

ACR is published as machine-readable JSON under CC-BY-4.0. 241 crawlers in v1.0.0 — verified entries include official documentation links. Global lastSeen is intentionally omitted; visit data belongs to your own logs (Pro/Agency, planned).
